Riege Software International Opens a New Office in Switzerland
Meerbusch, Germany – By opening a new branch office in Nürensdorf near Zurich, Riege Software International, one of the leading providers of Air-, Ocean- and Customs Software, strengthens its presence in Europe.
The family owned company provides comprehensive software solutions for the freight forwarding industry. Riege Software International already has a local presence in Europe, Asia, North America and Australia. From January 2009 onwards, the new branch office in Switzerland will offer local support and services to Swiss customers. Riege Software International is proud to serve some of the most prominent forwarders, including Apextrans, Dachser, DB Schenker and Logwin amongst others, in the Swiss market.
Andreas Fenner has been named Regional Director of Riege Software International AG in Switzerland. Mr. Fenner brings with him twenty years of experience with the Swiss forwarding industry especially with Swiss customs. “Riege Software International has already been working with Swiss customers since 1985. Opening an office in Switzerland enables Riege Software International to provide localized support to existing clients and to expand our existing client base.” said Mr. Fenner.
To further facilitate growth in the Swiss market, Riege Software International will offer an application for handling Swiss Customs. The application is built on Riege Software International’s modular Scope framework and will be available to customers by spring 2009.
