As a customs broker, you ensure that your customers' customs declarations run smoothly. Whether it's clearing large quantities or few highly valuable goods, customs clearance must avoid one thing: hold things up. This is primarily ensured by seamless data exchange with customs. Digital declarations

Customs is basically handled electronically. Digitization is well advanced. But how much digitality does the customs software you currently use offer? Customs is complex and sometimes complicated. So software that is itself complicated is not helpful. The customs software in Scope has the highest level of digitality. It starts with data import. As a pioneer for importing CSV files, Scope has set standards that have now become industry standard. But the lead remains. The way Scope processes this data and makes it available is still unique. And Scope does everything else digitally, almost single-handedly.

Seamless communication

The outstanding argument in favor of Scope customs software is its unlimited connectivity and communication capabilities. Scope communicates internally as well as externally. With customs, anyway. But Scope can do more. With the Scope Customs Interface (SCI) package for shipment data, event messages and document exchange, you can connect external systems. Customs messages are created in Scope. On the way back, Scope sends status and event messages that reflect the current status in the external system. In addition, you can also transmit PDF documents generated by Scope to the external system. Last but not least, the SCI is able to connect customs systems of a country that is not supported by Scope. Shipment data entered in Scope can be sent and processed in the customs system of the respective country. Scope also knows no boundaries when it comes to communication.

Accelerated declaration

The Scope customs software speeds up import and export procedures through intuitive data entry. But even more so thanks to the convenient data transfer and data dispatch. Multiple export declarations can be merged into one transit declaration. Imported CSV data is summarized according to customs requirements. In ATLAS Import, customs declarations with up to 99 items are then possible in less than 60 seconds, in ATLAS NCTS and in ATLAS Export it is even 999 (customs does not allow more in either case). For customs agents in the German-Swiss border area, the ATLAS <> e-dec function enables seamless data transfer between the two customs procedures. As soon as you have registered an export declaration, you can transfer the data from the export procedure of one country to the import procedure of the other. As all customs-relevant data is transferred, you avoid double data entry and at the same time ensure that the data in both customs declarations is identical.
