Tracking

Manual deactivation of milestones

Milestones can now be manually deactivated as long as they are not completed.

A manually deactivated milestone can be reactivated and returned to its original status. Since events are not rechecked, automatic completion of milestones after reset may not take effect.

Manual completion of DEP/ARR milestones in Air Cargo Export

In case of manual completion, the departure control will no longer be opened automatically, but there will be a warning to use it. If the option is accepted, users have the possibility to apply the default milestone completion. If the departure control is not used, the milestone remains undone.

Evaluation by City Code

If an attribute that refers to a city (UNLocode) is applied within the tracking, the criterion “within the same city” can be activated. Then any event with an UNLocode with the same main city as the shipment's attribute will fulfill the milestone.

Default values for criteria

The criteria fulfillment dialog for milestones now suggests default values for certain event attributes:

  • Event Location
  • Packages, Departure location, Receiving location

When selecting Cargo iQ or Cargo-IMP event codes, additional criteria are set for packages and location.

Freight Forwarding

Export of shipment view in all modules in Excel format

The freight forwarding modules for Air Freight Export, Air Freight Import, Ocean Freight Export, Ocean Freight Import, Simple Shipment and Transport Orders now allow exporting the view in Excel format.

Air Freight Export – AWB now issued with taxes

The AWB can now be issued with the applicable taxes in each country. Although it is created without taxes by default (exception: Mexico), users can select the alternative option “with taxes”. The subsequent calculation of taxes will be based on the valid percentage of the respective country on all costs (exception: Mexico).

FILAM – Proof of delivery with picture document

The QR code system for the first and last mile (FILAM) now allows to attach a picture for the “Proof of Delivery” (PoD) as a document for the unloading of the truck. The image document is available in the document tab of the respective shipment.

Ocean Freight

Predictive Estimated Time of Arrival (Predictive ETA)

In Scope, it is now possible to visualize predictions, delay messages or schedule shifts in Ocean Freight at shipment level. If a corresponding tracking plan is available, the data will flow in directly from the Estimated Time of Shipping (ETS) and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) fields.

Among other new events (see Top Features 22.8), INTTRA's Predictive ETA is particularly noteworthy. This event predicts the arrival of a ship by taking into account various factors such as current carrier reports, weather and traffic conditions, thus providing more transparency and planning reliability. Further information is available here.

Schedule Date – more traceability, more transparency

The Schedule Date with the information on “Scheduled Time of Shipping” (STS) and “Scheduled Time of Arrival” (STA) enables the traceability of the travel data of a shipment and thus creates even more transparency in Ocean Freight. It is available in the editors for Ocean Freight Export and Import.

STS and STA contain the original voyage data confirmed by the carrier with scheduled departure and arrival and form the basis for the Predicted ETA. ETS and ETA initially take the data from STS and STA. As tracking data reports new anticipated or predictive events, ETS and ETA are automatically adjusted.

Obtain legs from the global sailing list

The Sailing List search now shows the individual legs of a voyage in a preview. For each leg, there is information on the type of transport, the port codes for departure and arrival, and the scheduled departure and arrival dates. This is especially important for the Ocean Insights sailing lists, which can consist of up to 4 legs. If a sailing list with multiple legs is applied, corresponding legs are created in the shipment that correspond to the legs of the sailing list. The legs are additionally saved locally and are visible in case of an Ocean Insights sailing list after opening the editor.

New display of vessel data including legs

In order to see all vessel data including transshipments at first glance, all legs are now visible in the general tab. The workflow has not changed. As soon as a vessel is selected from the sailing list or manually inserted, the view is automatically updated.

Finance

Quotes

Link shipments

It is now possible to create multiple shipments from a single quote. If there are multiple shipments for a quote, the operators will be offered a selection of linked shipments from which they can explicitly select an option.

Working with quotes

Incoming e-mails can now be assigned to quotes.

Exchange rates

All exchange rates provided by external providers are now available in one application. It is now possible to select the source for an exchange rate and to define markups, e.g. for buy and sell rates, independently of the source of the exchange rate.

For detailed function descriptions and handling instructions, see Top Features in 22.8.
