Always on the safe side with the Scope air freight module

Security in aviation is essential - not only for passengers, but also for freight transportation. Efficient security checks help minimize flight delays, reduce stress and enable on-time shipments. With the Scope airfreight module, freight forwarders are well-equipped to comply with European security regulations.

How Scope fulfills these requirements

Scope supports all current aviation security requirements regulated by international authorities, especially the EU implementing regulation, with a high level of convenience. Various integrations and functions ensure this:

  • Automatic RA/KC number verification: verification of the EU supply chain security database (KSDA).

  • Address changes: Automatic detection of address changes in Scope or the EU database during RA/KC number verification and subsequent request for manual verification.

  • Security status: Determination only in branches with verified RegB registration.

  • Adaptability: Adaptation to different national implementations of EU requirements, e.g. for the specification of the KC number in the consignment note for “SPX by KC”.

  • Logging: Documentation of all KSDA and other security checks.

  • Backup orders and results: Creation of backup orders (CSD) and recording of backup results (for authorized users only).

  • Electronic consignment notes: Automatic transmission of security information (eCSD) in the electronic consignment note (eAWB).

  • Provisional security classification: Support of provisional classifications for secure collection and integration of the manual determination of the security status required by state authorities.

  • User authorizations: Security status change only by appropriately trained and authorized users.

Optimized work distribution

Scope allows users without air cargo security authorization to edit shipment data but not make changes to the security status. These users can handle unsafe shipments and prepare preliminary security classifications, enabling optimized work distribution within air cargo export teams.

Continuous adaptation

Scope is continuously adapted to new regulatory requirements and specifications, especially with regard to KRITIS and cybersecurity measures.

Efficient work despite strict requirements

The implementation of international security requirements influences forwarding processes. Our aim is to provide optimum support for these processes in Scope and to ensure efficient implementation while complying with all security requirements.
