Scope enables container bookings and shows container events, creates and transmits from B/L instructions, and provides for the dispatch of VGM (VERMAS) messages through direct connections to the well-known ocean freight portals. Workflow interruptions due to system changes or detours via browsers are eliminated.
Data exchange includes the transmission of container bookings, shipping instructions and Vermas messages with Verified Gross Mass (VGM) information to the forwarder, as well as the receipt of container events from the forwarder. Booking of containers and continuous updating of events are possible with all portals. Bookings can be made before the shipment is created. Even if only partial information is available, which then has to be supplemented when the shipment is created. All events are then automatically exchanged between Scope and the portals and continuously updated. The integration of tracking portals provides branches that do not make any bookings or B/L instructions with detailed tracking events about the current status of the shipments.
The integrated, easy-to-use B/L editor allows you to enter data independently of shipments. Subsequently, you can change and add to the information again and again. This includes not only the transfer of shipment data but also necessary adjustments and corrections.
VGM (VERMAS) data only needs to be entered once and can be transmitted directly from the scope to the INTTRA, GT Nexus and CargoSmart portals for onward transmission to the shipping companies. Data and shipping line feedback can be exchanged prior to B/L instructions, speeding up the entire process. Messages via INTTRA require an eVGM contract, which you can sign directly with Riege as a certified INTTRA eVGM reseller.
All communication to and from carriers is handled by the Riege Clearing Center, which ensures reliable conversion of the various message formats. The routing itself takes place 100% in the background. Users do not have to take any additional measures.
Incoming carrier emails for carrier EDI messages are displayed in the Scope inbox of the respective user. This means that notifications about bookings, shipping instructions and VGM messages are clearly visible and immediately available. The type and number of notifications can be adjusted by configuration.
