Scope enables you to query the mandatory EU lists for Regulated Agents and Known Consignors (RAKC) in compliance with the law without spending unnecessary time visiting external websites. An additional search for names or KC numbers is not necessary, as Scope knows whether a business partner - still - has a valid number.
Due to the connection of Scope to the EU database, the automatic check is carried out directly in the master data or from the shipment entry. The validity period for the check results and the check intervals are freely configurable. A manual check is possible, but the automated check is recommended because this reliably ensures punctual validation and thus legal certainty for you.
All data query results are cached in Scope. This allows you to perform a check directly in Scope for recurring queries. This saves you additional time by bypassing the EU database, because it is only contacted when defined check intervals have expired or new queries require another direct connection to the database.
Logs of RAKC checks are automatically stored in Scope and can be retrieved at any time. This makes it possible to prove when which address was checked by which employee, when the last check took place and what the result was. This meticulous recording ensures that you are on the safe side in the event of any ambiguities or investigations.
