Forwarding Transport Orders

Order placement directly from the shipment and electronic message exchange

In Scope, you can assign transport orders for air, sea and land freight shipments within the shipment creation process. Via the optional interface, you are able to exchange all necessary data and information digitally with the transport companies stored in Scope. Without e-mail traffic and telephone calls. When using the supplementary QR code procedure, data on loading and unloading is transmitted directly to Scope.

PRECISELY PLAN PICKUP AND DELIVERY OF AIR AND OCEAN FREIGHT

When you hire the carrier, you can specify the day, time, and location, as well as precisely specify the type, number, and weight of shipments. For air freight, you can specify the terminal for delivery. In addition to general cargo orders for pre- and on-carriage, you can also initiate FCL orders via the interface.

ADD DOCUMENTS BY MOUSE CLICK OR DRAG-AND-DROP

You can add accompanying documents such as dangerous goods declarations and delivery bills from the document archive in Scope or by upload.

ELECTRONIC MESSAGE EXCHANGE INSTEAD OF TIME-CONSUMING COMMUNICATION

The optional interface allows you to transmit instructions directly with the order and to exchange event messages with the contracted haulage company electronically. This way, you avoid time-consuming communication via e-mail or telephone and can receive milestones and log them in a traceable manner.

CONFIGURE UPDATES OF EVENT MESSAGES INDIVIDUALLY

By configuring the interface accordingly, you can determine whether updates should be sent. A warning function alerts you if the recipient cannot process updates.

TRANSMITTING DELIVERY DATA SIMPLY, QUICKLY AND SECURELY VIA FILAM QR CODE

Instead of using an interface, truckers can use the FILAM function for first and last mile deliveries by scanning a QR code in the transport order with their smartphone or tablet and confirming the loading and unloading with a single click. Alternatively, freight forwarding agents can scan the code at pickup and delivery and trigger the confirmation – with exact date and time. This data automatically updates milestone planning and the status of the shipment in the shipment monitor. This simple procedure enables other process participants to initiate further steps immediately.

Grouping of containers

Containers with identical pick-up addresses in Export and delivery addresses in Import can be grouped together on the Transport Order document. This eliminates the need to list individual containers, making the document significantly shorter and clearer. For the necessary form conversion, please contact support@riege.com

Transport Order Documents to be sent separately

Transport Order EDI messages to truckers support to send (pdf-) documents in separate messages. That is helpful if the number of documents exceeds a certain limit or if the trucker asks to send documents through a separate channel.

ADR Packagetypes available for Transport Order

Scope supports the official UN ADR Packagetypes for dangerous goods on road shipments. The ADR codes can be assigned to Packagetypes in the Master data.
